Dr. Corynn Johnson is a Tulsa native who graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Johnson first starting working at OVS in 2008 as an Emergency veterinary assistant before heading to veterinary school. After graduation, she spent a year at San Francisco Veterinary Specialists completing a rotating internship in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Neurology.
Following her internship, Dr. Johnson moved back to Tulsa to accept a position as an Emergency veterinarian at OVS in 2014. Dr Johnson loves all aspects of Emergency Medicine, but is especially interested in trauma cases, heatstroke emergencies, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia in critical patients, and providing excellent pain management.
Dr. Johnson particularly enjoys seeing Dachshund patients and has her own 7 year old Dachshund at home named Piper. When Dr. Johnson isn’t busy caring for your four-legged family members, she spends her time hiking with Piper, tending her multiple aquariums, gardening, and riding hunter/jumper horses.
