Unlike her colleagues Dr. Cronin was born and raised in upstate NY. She (and her Connemara pony “P.J.”) attended Taylor University in Upland, IN where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After graduating from Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island Canada in 2005, Dr. Cronin went on to complete a one year equine internship in northern California, followed by a one year internship in Diagnostic Imaging at Oklahoma State University. She also spent a year at The University of Georgia in Athens, GA receiving special training in diagnostic imaging. Dr. Cronin spent two years practicing in general practice before joining OVS an emergency clinician. She enjoys the challenges of emergency medicine and is especially interested in diagnostic imaging and tending to critical patients. She is currently doing a Radiology Residency at Michigan State.
Dr. Cronin and her husband David have two canine children (Goodman and Jada), a chinchilla, a Thoroughbred gelding and a Connemara pony.
When not tending to your furry kiddos, Dr. Cronin’s passions include spending time with her husband, photography, relaxing with a good book or worship music, horseback riding and other outdoor activities.
