Our emergency hospital is fully staffed 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Our OVS-ER staff is always on call, whether it be the middle of the night, the weekend, or even a holiday.
What is considered an emergency?
A pet emergency can range from a simple upset stomach to a severe, traumatic injury. The key to helping your pet is to diagnose the problem early.
Your pet obviously cannot tell you what is bothering them. When in doubt, give us a call or bring your pet in so that we can take a look and provide you with peace of mind. Early diagnosis is the best way to speed up recovery and possibly save your pet’s life.
Our ER staff is ready to provide:
- After-hours observation
- Advanced cardiac monitoring
- Treatment for minor ailments such as an upset stomach
- Immediate triage admittance for life-threatening traumatic injuries
The ER is fully equipped with 4 exam rooms, an emergency surgery suite with advanced anesthetic monitoring, on-site diagnostic capabilities including:
- Radiography (x-rays)
- Blood chemistry analysis
- Complete blood cell counts
- ECG analysis
- Blood pressure monitoring
